The pasteurizers are machines of the food industry responsible for the pasteurization thermal treatment.
In case the food is not packed, the pasteurizer machines are made of heat exchangers which can be tubular (single, double, triple tube, tube bundle, with scraped surface) or with plates.
In any case a thermal exchange occurs between the food to pasteurize and the “service liquid” (hot water or condensing steam), that slide in the exchangers. The pasteurization can be done also on packed products. In this case pasteurizer machines are used(they are named also “rainfall”), they have an internal kind of tunnel where the packed product passes through. The product receives subsequent splashes of water at more and more higher temperatures. The cooling happens in the terminal station of the pasteurizer.
