The pasteurizer machines are plants of the food industry which are for carrying out the pasteurization thermal treatment.
In case of food products not packed, the pasteurizer machines are constituted by heat exchangers which can be tubular (single, double, triple tube, tube bundle, with scraped surface) or with plates.
In all cases there is a thermal exchange between the food to pasteurize and the “service liquid” (warm water or condensing steam), that are run in the exchangers. The pasteurization can be done also on packed products. In this case are used tunnel pasteurizer machines (named also “rain like”), constituted by a kind of tunnel inside which the packed product is made go through; it receives subsequent sprinkles of warm water at raising temperatures. In the terminal section of the pasteurizer machine the cooling happens.
